Looking Back on 2022 with the FT Group
2022, what a year!
As the evenings get longer and warmer and the mosquitos get more aggressive, we here at the FT Group are waving farewell to another huge year for the organisation.
It was a year of highs that just kept getting higher. Literally!
Moving into our new home on the 6th floor was a huge moment for the organisation. With a bright new space all for ourselves and our office plants we set about doing what we do best. Connecting businesses to the talent which they need.
All this new space meant that we had plenty of empty chairs around, so we filled them with some amazing new team members!
First came Abby Chambers and Gabrielle Baird, all the way back in January.
Fresh out of her Bachelor’s Degree, Abby flourished in the role of candidate experience coordinator, quickly earning herself a promotion to Recruitment Consultant. Throughout the year she performed outstanding work recruiting across Project Services, Customer Experience, Process Improvement & Business Transformation
Recent grad Gabrielle tackled Project Services, IT, Digital & Business Transformation  portfolio, establishing herself as an integral member of Frazer Tremble Executive while also studying her MBA, what a superstar!
Then in June they were joined by Maddy Baldwin, forming a trio of recruitment consultants to rival the three musketeers. Maddy brought her energy and enthusiasm to the Project Services, Digital, IT & Business Transformation.
Together with managing director Laura Frazer the crew at FT Executive placed over 50 candidates with over 30 Clients in a range of different executive roles.
In July their outstanding efforts were recognised by the Sourcr Recruiter of the year Awards. The Sourcr Recruiter of the Year Awards celebrate the industry’s best talent who have gone the extra mile to deliver for their clients and candidates.Â
FT Executive took home The Best Strategic Consultancy Agency award for 2022 and Laura was recognised for her huge efforts over the year with the individual award for Best Recruiter.
The Sourcr Awards are solely determined by verified client and candidate feedback. Quality review data is the only data used to determine the outcome of these awards ensuring that only genuine people and awards and celebrated.
On the CX Loop side of the FT group. The month of May saw the arrival of a new face in the office! Service Designer Maricarmen Luhrs joined the Growing CX team while they tackled some major projects across Local Government sectors and Private sector businesses in Victoria.
Soon after the FT group grew by one more as Marketing Manager, Tom Hogan came aboard. Tom was put to work immediately overhauling the social media strategy and re-launching the Transforming Futures newsletter.
This monthly newsletter allowed us to better connect with our candidates and clients. We’ve been able to share stories and insights from across our industries and beyond. And we have been delighted by the way our audience has embraced it!

Throughout the year we were fortunate to make an appearance at the LG Pro Conference and then in September we sponsored the CX Victoria Summit 2022.Â
This was an awesome opportunity to connect with experts across industry after 2 years of online events.Â
You could really feel the excitement of everyone being able to share a space together to network and share new insights and updates in the world of CX.
In October, CX Loop hosted their own event. Hosted By Service Designer Maricarmen and Principal Consultant Brendan Tremble, they aimed to answer one of the big CX questions – User Journey Maps or Service Blueprints?
The event was well attended with heaps of questions taken from the audience. You can even catch up on our recap of the q&a here!
At Frazer Tremble we looked at ways to enhance the client experience. We noticed that Clients were looking for a better insight into our current candidates that went beyond just a resume. So we created our new Talent Dashboard. A fast track for those searching for talent.
Exclusive to VIP clients, we created this dashboard to showcase talent which had been hand picked by our recruitment specialists in the areas of Tech, Digital, Process Improvement, Project Services, CX and Business Transformation. Looking back it’s hard to believe how much we’ve done this year. And we haven’t even touched on all the little moments which have grown us as a team. All The thirsty thursday’s and friday funday’s, they all play a part in bringing us all together as human beings not just co workers.
As we look forward to the year ahead we can see plenty of exciting things to come for the FT Group. We’ll be continuing to transform the futures of our candidates, clients and staff in 2023.

The Ft Group will be taking a well earned break during the Christmas period. Our office will be closing on the 23rd of December and will be reopening on the 9th of January.
