Frazer Tremble is partnering with a household namey to hire a Senior Data Engineer for an exciting data migration project. You'll be instrumental in transitioning from an on-premise Oracle Data Warehouse to a modern Snowflake/AWS solution.
This collaborative, high-performing team is looking for someone with strong experience in cloud data migrations, infrastructure as code, and data pipeline orchestration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimise, and maintain ETL & data pipelines in AWS Snowflake
- Work with Terraform for infrastructure as code deployment
- Utilise dbt, Snowpipes, Streams, and Tasks for data transformations
- Implement Python-based orchestration frameworks for workflow automation
- Strong focus on DevOps
- Optimise query performance and manage releases
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS, and dbt
- Strong Python & SQL development skills
- Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Knowledge of data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions)
- Work on a high-impact cloud migration project in the public sector
