Are you passionate about driving change and enhancing operational efficiency? Our client seeking a dynamic Service Improvement Manager to spearhead their efforts in revolutionising the way we deliver services and continuously improve processes across their business. 

About the Role:
As a pivotal member of the Operational Performance Group, you'll lead with expertise and innovation to support our client's mission. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Business Improvement, you'll be at the forefront of identifying and implementing impactful process improvement initiatives. Your role will involve fostering cross-functional collaboration and establishing clear ownership of business processes to drive organisational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Master of Methodologies: Seamlessly navigate a diverse toolkit of design and service improvement methodologies, including Lean, SixSigma, and Business Process Mining, to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Strategic Visionary: Develop and shape demand and resourcing strategies for service improvement, collaborating with external suppliers to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee small- and large-scale projects to enhance service experiences for our students, academics, and staff, ensuring a seamless and impactful delivery.
  • Capability Catalyst: Drive the growth of service and process improvement capability across all roles in the DDSE team, providing guidance and uplift for project stakeholders and the broader university community. 
  • Strategic Partner: Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, advocating for the merits of service improvement methods, tools, and mindset to address complex challenges and opportunities
About you: 

To be successful in this role you will have a demonstrated ability to lead and manage people, excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills, strong communication skills, a growth mindset - showing curiosity, optimism & resilience, a deep understanding of Service, Process and Business improvement methodologies and a process improvement and design toolkit consisting of methods such as Lean, Six Sigma (or similar).
