2023 has come and gone, leaving behind an amazing year filled with ups and downs. As we say goodbye to this significant period, we can’t help but reflect on the journey that brought us to where we are today. It was a year of great success, marked by substantial growth and expansion.

Our new office location has truly become our sanctuary, and we feel incredibly lucky to have welcomed exceptional people to our team. As we prepare for the future, let’s take a moment to look back on the highlights of 2023.

One of our key strategies, the Future Fit Method, has played a crucial role in our success. By prioritising hiring based on the anniversary date rather than the start date.

Additionally, we introduced our innovative Top Talent videos, providing outstanding candidates with a platform to showcase their skills and abilities to our talent heads. Every Tuesday became an opportunity for these candidates to shine, thanks to our personalised and confidential approach.

Looking back on 2023, we are filled with gratitude for the milestones we achieved and the incredible individuals who joined us on this journey. As we move forward, we remain committed to our vision and excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.

Welcoming Exceptional New Team Members:

Throughout the year, we were fortunate to have brought on board some incredible talents. In July and August, Fletcher Hanneysee and Kate Egan joined our team as Divisional Director of Technology and Project Services and Digital Marketing Manager, respectively. As the year progressed, we were thrilled to welcome two exceptional individuals, Henry Thompson and Nicole Taylor, both Recruitment Consultants specialising in Contract recruitment and permanent positions in the Project Services field.

We have also made internal adjustments, with Abby moving from Recruitment Consultant to Executive Assistant to the MD, and we are eagerly preparing to welcome a new team member in early 2024 – **watch this space**. Their contributions have played a vital role in maintaining our impressive growth trajectory.

A Year of Unprecedented Growth:

In 2023, FT thrived and evolved, with our team tirelessly connecting businesses with the talent they needed, while offering unparalleled career opportunities for job seekers. We experienced remarkable growth across all key areas, with a particular emphasis on technology, and exciting new projects are set to carry us into 2024. We successfully onboarded 11 new aligned clients while maintaining a perfect 100% retention rate for our existing clients. 

AI has revolutionised our processes and transformed the way we work at FT. Despite facing challenges along the way, we persevered and emerged stronger than ever.

We collaborated with innovative organisations, ranging from government entities to startups, empowering them to gain a competitive edge. Our strong dedication to diversity, equality, and inclusion (DE&I) is in perfect sync with our clients’ values, fostering impactful partnerships.

With over 7,000 subscribers and a 55% open rate, our monthly newsletter became the go-to resource and communication hub for industry professionals. It featured the latest market trends, valuable candidate advice, and live job opportunities.

Moreover, we proudly achieved ISO-9001 certification, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to upholding exceptionally high-quality standards.

Laura participated in a Sourcr Business Development Webinar, joining other recruitment business owners. The event garnered an impressive attendance of 900.
