Senior Project Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact transformation projects that strengthen critical infrastructure resilience and regulatory compliance under the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) framework - ideally within a telecommunications environment.

The Opportunity You’ll join a high-performing Enterprise Project Management Office within a fast-paced, tech-driven organisation. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of strategic and regulatory programs that directly influence how the business operates.

You’ll collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to ensure every initiative delivers measurable value and lasting impact.

What You’ll Do

• Lead large, complex transformation and compliance projects across telecommunications and technology domains
• Partner with senior leaders to align strategy, delivery, and business outcomes
• Apply lean governance, agile delivery principles, and structured program management practices
• Manage risk, scope, and benefits realisation across concurrent projects
• Champion collaboration, continuous improvement, and modern delivery practices
• Integrate SOCI and critical infrastructure requirements into project planning and execution

Key skills and experience include:

• Strong background in telecommunications project delivery or large-scale technology programs
• Deep understanding of the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act and related compliance frameworks
• Experience with risk management and security frameworks (PSPF, ISM, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Commercial and financial acumen with the ability to optimise spend and drive ROI
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams and vendor partners
• Experience working with time/material and outcome-based delivery models

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in similar project leadership roles within telecommunications or critical infrastructure sectors
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, or related field (desirable)
