We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a leading professional services firm on a 12-month FTC contract based in Melbourne CBD. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to two significant transformation projects, one in cybersecurity and one in AI.
As part of the IT team, you will act as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery. Working closely with stakeholders, developers, product owners and quality assurance, you will ensure that solutions are fit-for-purpose, well-documented, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading requirement gathering, analysis, and business process modelling
- Producing clear, structured documentation including technical specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Partnering with technical teams to design and validate solutions for both cyber and AI initiatives
- Supporting QA and testing to ensure high-quality delivery
- Assisting in change management, training and stakeholder communication activities
- Analysing data to generate insights and drive process improvements
- Advising on the adoption of new tools and technologies to optimise business outcomes
- Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst
- Proven background in delivering projects in cybersecurity and/or AI
- Strong knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and business systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in process modelling, functional and non-functional documentation, and agile delivery methods
